S2S Youth Sports Performance builds strength, power, coordination and movement control to help young athletes perform at a higher level and reduce injury risk.
sport-specific skills are only part of the game.
Practices build sport-specific skills. But strength, power, balance, coordination and movement control create the physical foundation athletes need to use those skills effectively.
S2S Youth Sports Performance bridges that gap with purposeful training designed to help young athletes move efficiently, meet the demands of their sport and continue progressing as those demands increase.
WHAT WE DEVELOP
S2S Youth Sports Performance develops the physical foundation behind athletic performance:
- Strength & Power — stronger, more explosive movement
- Speed & Agility — acceleration, deceleration and change of direction
- Balance & Coordination — body control and movement efficiency
- Jumping & Landing — mechanics, stability and control
- Sport-Specific Movement — preparation for the demands of practice and competition
HOW WE TRAIN
Training is purposeful and progressive. We combine strength, resistance, agility, balance, coordination and movement training based on the athlete’s age, abilities, sport and goals.
WHO IT’S FOR
Designed for young athletes who want to improve performance, prepare for a new season or higher level of competition, build confidence in their movement, or develop a stronger physical foundation for their sport.
THE S2S DIFFERENCE
We look beyond reps and drills. S2S combines expertise in human movement with performance training to identify how an athlete moves, where opportunities exist and what they need to progress.
Programs may be led by a sports-focused Doctor of Physical Therapy or qualified fitness professional based on the athlete’s individual needs.
INJURY RISK & PERFORMANCE
Performance and injury prevention aren’t separate goals. Strength, control, coordination and efficient movement help athletes handle the speed, repetition and physical demands of their sport while reducing modifiable injury risk.
